Pepperpot plant pot

Coming directly from a small region in Alsace (France), these creations are made from porcelain. The small company Pepperpot works with matt and textured  porcelain , sometimes coloured, to reproduce the effects of natural minerals,  like coral and moss 

It is a long process , entirely done by hand to reproduce the natural patterns created by nature. 

Drying takes  approximately ten days, then twice baked  at very high temperatures (950 and 1250°C), each lasting around 24 hours. 

The finish give the pots , soft and rough textures. Every pot is unique.
